Blindness is an upcoming 2008 movie adaption of the 1995 novel by Jose Saramago. The movie is scheduled for a August 2008 release.
Synopsis:
The movie is about an epidemic of blindness that mysteriously sweeps through a city and pushes society to the breaking point. The only one person not infected by the epidemic is a doctors wife, as she takes care of her husband the surrounding community breaks down into chaos and disorder.
I must say that this really looks like a great movie with a interesting story, I hope that the movie will be as good and interesting as this teaser trailer.
