BMW E92 M3 Videos

The E92 BMW M3 first introduced at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show is the most powerful version in the series of M3 cars this far.

As we have mentioned in the 2008 BMW M3 First Review video the E92 have been equipped with a 4.0 L V8 engine which produces 414 bhp and revs to an impressing 8400 rpm. The E92 M3 have a power increase of 22% compared to the old E46 M3 which used an inline-6 engine. Most impressing is the fact that through using innovative materials coming straight from their F1 business the weight of the V8 is 15 kg lighter compared to the old engine.

An interesting detail is that the E92 M3 is suspected to be available with a dual clutch gearbox solution like the famous Audi DSG gearbox solution, but on BMW the name of this system will be called DCT which is supposed to stand for Dual Clutch Transmission. Paultan has more information on the DCT gearbox, I would not by the M3 without that gearbox if it's as good as the DSG system.
