Nissan GT-R Videos

The Nissan GT-R is the new Nissan Skyline GT-R and even though the Skyline is no longer part of the name the heritage is obvious. The GT-R have created massive amounts of buzz since it was released in Japan on December 6, 2007. The international launch is yet to come but is expected at the end of 2008.

Most motoring shows and magazines have already tested the Nissan GT-R by either traveling to Japan and borrowed privately owned cars or transported cars to their ordinary testing grounds. Both Top Gear and Fifth Gear have been in Japan to test the GT-R, Top Gear drove the GT-R across Japan in a race against the Bullet Train. In the next episode the they had an imported in the hands of the stig.

The Nissan GT-R is often compared to the Porche 911 Turbo because of their similarities in horsepower and size/weight. And in this comparison the GT-R almost always come out as the winner because it's almost half the price of the 911 Turbo and the styling is more modern.
