Tripod is an Australian musical comedy act consisting of Scott Edgar, Simon Hall and Steven Gates. The name Tripod comes from the fact that the band is a trio.

Tripod regularly performs in television comedy show skitHOUSE and are regulars at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. For several years tripod participated in Song in an Hour challenge on Australian radio. Song in an Hour is a contest where the band had to come up with a song in an hour using suggestions from the listeners.
