Halloween is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The film is written, produced and directed by Rob Zombie and will be released on August 31, 2007.
Synopsis
In the small town Haddonfield, Illinois lived the young boy Michael Myers with his family. On Halloween night 15 years ago Michael savagely murdered his family, stabbing his older sister Judith and beating his mother and her boyfriend to death with a bat. The only person who was sparred Michaels slaughter was his younger sister Lauri, the only person he ever loved
Michael was sentenced to be looked up on a psychiatric hospital where Dr. Sam Loomis, a well-known psychiatrist tried to cure him but eventually gave up hope and realized that Michael is pure evil. 15 years after the slaughter Michael escapes the mental institute and makes his way back to his hometown just in time for Halloween.
Is this going to be this year's scariest horror movie? Since not enough people have gotten the chance to see Halloween just yet there is no rating available on IMDb. Not much information on the official Halloween website but more will surely come.
