National Treasure: The Book of Secrets Movie Trailer
National Treasure: The Book of Secrets will be released on December 21st, 2007 and is a sequel to the 2004 film National Treasure.
When the first film was released there were no plans for a sequel but due to the impressive earnings of $347 million a sequel was given the green light in 2005, and here we have National Treasure: The Book of Secrets.
Synopsis
In July 2006 producer Jerry Bruckheimer said that the film would involve Abraham Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth, 18 missing pages from Booth's diary and a surprising ending with many twists.
And in this movie trailer we get to know that treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth's diary. The missing 18 pages in Booth's diary is supposed to include secret information on a world-wide conspiracy.
The following dialog from the trailer pretty much states it all: Riley Poole: So let's recap: We've broken into Buckingham Palace, and the Oval Office, stolen a page from the President's super-secret book, and actually kidnapped the President of the United States. What are we gonna do next, short-sheet the Pope's bed? Ben Gates: Well, you never know.
No IMDb ratting is available at this time but if you enjoyed National Treasure you will probably enjoy this as well since the style seems to be very much the same. The Official site have the same trailer as wee do but in some different formats.
