The Dark Knight is a new movie in the series of Batman movies and is the sequel to Batman Begins. The Dark Knight will open on July 18th, 2008.
Synopsis
In The Dark Knight, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.
By the looks of The Dark Knight photos at IMDb this is going to be one great looking movie. In this teaser not much is revealed but it certainly builds up expectations.

I have actually got information through a friend that works for screen gems who has read part of the script. I know that Heath Ledger as the for alot of people is a bad cast, but i have seen a trailer with him acting, and i must say that his performance tops jacks! And the way he is created and looks blew me away! The scars that create the frekish smile along with the greasy green hair give this movie a darkness the movie needs. Harvey Dent will be in the movie but only as two face for the last few minutes in the movie as he is created by the joker and then tries to kill the joker only to have batman stop him! huh convinent..... stoping him makes two face pisssed with batman and then theres ur next movie with the penguin as a russian arms dealer. Oh yeah the other part is that the scarewcrow will be in the dark knight. He will be paring with the joker to turn his poison looney gas into wow!!! i would have never guessed...lauging gas!! another hint from batman begins. i have also seen pictures of the joker in full. Loved em! picture jack nicholsons purple and green suit but dirty, grimy,torn and faded. It will truely blow ur minds. There was a site that showd a picture of harvey Dent for mayor and it slowly turned into a picture of the joker!i went there a week later to find the page blank. but the kicker is i was clicking around and noticed that if u hightlate the blank page it reveals hahahahaha! all the way to the bottom. I didnt think anything of t untill i say the leeter S put in and i keep looking wat i found was crazy! it spelt out SEE YOU IN DECEMBER! MEANING YOU WILL GET THE FIRST LOOK AT THE JOKER IN A RELEASED TRAILER IN DEC OF THIS YEAR!!!!!! ILL KEEP U POSTED
