Trick 'r Treat is a Drama/Horror movie set to be released sometime in 2008, the movie is based on the director Michael Dougherty's acclaimed short film Season's Greetings.
Synopsis
Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us, the rituals surrounding All Hallows Eve were constructed to protect us from the evil that is released. One small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson of what happens when traditions are not kept alive.

Ok I have been wanting to see this film when I frist read about it & the released date was October 5th 2007....Now I here its not until 2008 & I really wanted a great Halloween movie to see this year. It would have fit in nice to my plan when I goto Halloween Horror Nights & Scream Fest in Orlando....I really hate it when movie companies get you all pumped up & tell you a released date of 10/05/07 then change it to 2008!!!!! Once agin WB SUCKS

I am soo agreeing with Jack Frost here! My wife and I saw the trailer in the theaters and were looking forward to a great Halloween movie this year. We have a babysitter for our 3 boys and are getting ready to go when we found this info about 2008. What a burn! Thanks for this WB, you suck!!!

I wish it would had been released in october of 2007, the same month i came back from deployment. I saw the preview when i was in Iraq and was looking forward to seeing it after spending 15 months in hell. I am a big horror movie buff and this movie looks like it might bring back the classic look of horror movies. After being disappointed, i figure, hey, if it's gonna be one of the best movies of 2008, then it would be worth waiting for the release. Another thing, i hear that this movie is suppose to go straight to dvd and not hit theatre. Don't know how true that is though.

If you check out IMDB.com for this movie it will shed a little light. There is info on the net. Don't remember the site(s) at the moment. Warner Brothers was supposed to release it to theaters October 2007 and pushed it back to 2008 and now I have heard rumors of them pushing it further back to 2009. This would be a load of crap if true, I have been waiting to see this movie since 2007. The latest I have heard is that it will go straight to DVD due to WB. They stated they weren't sure how to promote the movie due to its Halloween subject and the fact it is four stories intertwined with one another. It is based on the book "Trick r Treat" which can be found on amazon.com Here are some links.

I tottaly agree. This movie needs to come out. Missed it in theaters and want to buy it on DVD. Many of my friends have been wanting to see this movie including friends!!
