The old Honda Civic Type R was a great street racer but the looks was to dull for the intended audience, therefore the new Honda Civic Type R have been very much anticipated.
Yesterday this video of Jenson Button test driving the new Civic Type R was published on youtube and before we get started we must say that the engine sound is great which is important on this type of car. All of you racing fans knows that Jenson Button is now racing for Honda F1 team which more or less makes him forced to say that this car is great since he is an important marketing spokesman for Honda.
The new Honda Civic Type R have a 220 bhp 2.0L i-VTEC engine, that is 5 more bhp then in the previous model. This engine gives the Type R an acceleration from 0-60 mph in 6.4s and the VW Golf GTI does it in 7.2s.
