This is the world's largest nuclear bomb ever developed and detonated. This 50 megatons bomb was so powerful that the mushroom cloud rose 60km in the sky and penetrated the cloud layer, the shockwave was measurable even the third time around the world.
To be able to detonate the bomb from an airplane they have to give the bomb a parachute to give the plane the extra time needed to escape the explosion. Guess what nation developed this beast?
