We know that BMW creates some of the worlds best engines and that they constantly win engine award after engine award for these engines. But how do you create a good ad that delivers this message in a interesting way?
I think that BMW have cracked this with the Revolution ad that you are about to see here. This ad was created without the use of computer generated effects so what you see is the real deal going on inside a BMW E92 M3 V8 engine.
To create this ad three complete engines were sacrificed. Manifolds were cut, cylinders shaved and lighting holes were drilled. Only the preparations took 2 weeks and then 80 hours was spent filming the injection and combustion process, so it was evidently not an easy task to accomplish this project. The result that you see in the video is what I call truly incredible, think that this is happening all the time when your driving your car!
