Daredevil Cycles Down Mountain at 210 km/h Video

This is a video showing how Markus Stöckl set a new world speed record on a mountainbike. The video was shoot on September 14, 2007 when Stöckl rode his mountainbike down the ski slope of La Parva in Chile. The La Parva is a 1,6 kilometers long slope with a decline of 45 degrees and Stöckl reached a speed of 210 km/h which is 23 km/h faster then his old record.

Fun to know is that due to problems with the aerodynamic helmet fogging up during practice he hold his breath during the 40 second descent.
