Dove is certainly doing things right at the moment, their previous commercial Evolution was a hit and spread across the internet like crazy. Onslaught is the follow up to Evolution and it focuses on young girls growing up in a world that bombards them with images of what the beauty industry defines as beautiful.
I think this is a very strong commercial and actually a commercial that matters because it have something to say, we live in a sick world where everyone is supposed to look like a supermodel. Grownups might be able to handle these unrealistic images because we know they are all fake, but how about the kids.
In one way this commercial is completely hypocritical since in fact Dove is selling some of the very products that is compressed into this commercial, but I guess Dove is one of the better companies in the beauty segment.
