Dragon Wars also known as D-War is a 2007 fantasy/action movie from South Korea.
Synopsis Dragon Wars is based on the Korean legend about Imoogi a animal with extraordinary powers that enables it to transform into a dynamic range of powerful animals. Yeouijoo is a magical pearl and symbol for dragons, the legend has it that an Imoogi can transform itself into a dragon if it acquires the Yeouijoo. Every five hundred years the Imoogi have the ability to become dragons and conquer the world by obtaining the Yeouijoo.
500 years ago the girl Narin was born carrying the Yeouijoo inside her body, the Heavens sent her a protector called Haram to ensure that the good Imoogi would receive the Yeouijoo when the time had come. But while having protected Narin for several years Haram had fallen in love with her and when it was time to sacrifice her to the good Imoogi he failed and the couple jumped into their deaths together. Since the good Imoogi's destiny was not fulfilled it had to wait another 500 years for the next Yeouijoo to appear.
Those 500 years have just passes and in present day Los Angeles Narin and Haran have been reincarnated as Sarah and Ethan. Ethan is an investigative reporter for a local news channel and while following a series of unexplainable disasters in the area he finds Sarah and remembers that an ancient man he met many years ago had predicted all of this. Aware that Sarah must sacrifice herself to the god Imoogi Ethan tries to find another way to win the battle.

This movie is the worst! It's poorly written, poorly acted and poor produced. The storyline is stupid. At one point, a guy gets shot, then pops up like nothing and leaves. Lol.

Nice, very nice special effects-action most effects look very good indeed. Storyline and acting unfortunately is less worthwhile. End is a bit too much "eastern" and none "hollywood". Nevertheless I really enjoyed watching this one.
