Jaguar could have easily written themselves out of the history books if they had got the XF wrong - but they haven't, that is according to the British show Fifth Gear which is obviously a bit biased but I think they are right.
Even though design and looks are highly personal I and many with me think that Jaguar have created a really good looking car. And as they say in the video people thinks it reminds much of a Aston Martin and that is definitely not a bad thing in my world. Fifth Gear really loves the interior and I must agree with them it have that British luxury feeling that you want and some really nice features that no other car have, when you have watched the video you will know what I mean.
I don't have much to say about the handling and comfort of the car since I haven't driven it (yet, hope to do it soon) but Fifth Gear sure does seem to like the engine and transmission and how they work together. But they point out that the V6 diesel that they are testing is definitely the slowest car in the segment and that the BMW 5 will kick it's but all over town. I guess if you buy the Jaguar you care more about comfort then you do about performance.

The V6 may have the 5 series kicking its butt all over town, but in the states, we get V8's - which are happy to put up a real fight, in performance, class, and looks.
