Guinness Tipping Point Domino Video

Guinness Tipping Point is the company's most expensive and complex TV ad in its 80-year marketing history. What you see in the video above have costed £10 million which is roughly $21 million. Tipping Point is a follow up to the now classic Good Things Come to Those Who Wait series of commercials.

The video shows hundreds of villagers comming toghether to start a domino effect consisting of 6.000 pieces. The domino consists of things like cars, paint cans, books, flaming hay bales and various other items.

The advert culminates in a giant pint of Guinness being fashioned out of books.

Facts about the domino
• The advert was shot in a remote village called Iruya, in northern Argentina, with a population of about 1,000 people.
• The scenes were created by world record breaking domino experts, Domino Domain.
• Setting up the dominos on the table from the start of the advert took three experts two days, but only 14 seconds to topple.
• Toppling items included: 6,000 dominoes, 10,000 books, 400 tyres, 75 mirrors, 50 fridges, 45 wardrobes and 6 cars.
• 24 hours of video was captured.
• The car sequence was successfully shot in just one take.
