Ever wondered how that delicious salty soy sauce is manufactured, well this instructional video will both show and explain how soy sauce is manufactured.
The soy sauce is manufactured from soybeans and takes 6 months to manufacture and involves at least one step that I bet you had no idea about.
There is something fishy with the mathematics here: 270000000 liters of soy sauce packed per year, 5000 litres per pressing: 54000 pressings needed, thats 147 pressings per day, or over 6 per hour, 24/7. The continuous storing of 270 million litres / 2 = 135000 cubic metres of soysauce-to-be is kinda, well, unlikely.
SO I'm betting we're not seeing 'the cheap version' of the process.
