Takeo Okamoto a former tunnel engineer and sushi chef discovered his calling for ice sculpting and moved to Alaska the iciest place he could imagine. Now Takeo has been sculpting ice for over 20 years and has won several international awards including a silver medal in the 1998 Olympics.
Takeo is now the master carver in Okamoto Studio in New York City a first off its kind studio dedicated to elevating artistic ice sculpting. Okamoto Studio is now specialized in designing sculptures that will transform an event into a extraordinary occasion.
In this video we see how Takeo sculpts Cool Hunting's mascot dogs Otis and Logan into ice sculptures, really amazing to see the end result.
