This must be one of the cooler innovations in biking and skiing in recent time. The Ktrak is a kit that you purchase to your existing mountain bike, once assembled the Ktrak will enable you to ride your bike on snow. The Ktrak consists of a ski that is mounted in the front as a replacement to the front wheel to enable steering and a rear track that is mounted on the rear wheel to provide traction on snow.
The rear track is so good you can even go uphill any slope you would be able to normally go up with your mountain bike.
The Ktrak is supposed to be available in early 2007 and is assembled and shipped from British Columbia, Canada.
