Yesterday was a big day for the Nissan GT-R as it got it's chance to prove itself on the Top Gear Test Track in the hands of the tame racing driver the Stig.
We already know that the GT-R is much faster then it's price tag suggests as it made it's way around the Nürburgring in 7:29 which is really fast.
So with the results in hand we can say that the GT-R managed the test track in 1:19.7 placing at at place 7 on the Power Board. To see the list of which super cars it beat view this wikipedia article.
As a bonus this video starts out with Jeremy Clarksson testing the GT-R on the Fuji race circuit. The thing is he never was able to finish the segment because the in a sharp turn his neck wasn't able to cope with the G-forces and subsequently he damaged his neck.
