This is the RUF CTR3 successor of the original RUF CTR which was released 20 years ago. The RUF CRT3 was released on April 11, 2007 at the Bahrain International Circuit where the new RUF factory producing the CTR3 is located.
Continuing the RUF tradition of modifying Porsche cars the CTR3 shares body panels and engine from Porsche. The car weight in at 1,475 kg the engine is a 3.8 L fitted with twin turbochargers and produces 700 bhp which gives the car an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
As with the original CTR the CTR3 will scare the pants of some of the supercars, but will it beat the Porsche Carrera GT.
