Sony - Foam City Video

Sony continues to do spectacular commercials in urban settings and the last example is the Foam City ad that you are about to watch.

This type of ads started with the Bravia - Bouncing balls which have been followed up by the Bravia - Paint and Bravia - Clay rabbits. But this time the ad is not for the Bravia product lineup but for Sony's cameras.

Foam City was shoot in Miami where 120 million gallons (450 million liters) of soap bubbles where set free on the streets. To create this commercial the creators had to build the worlds largest foam machine which had a capacity of 500,000 gallons (1.8 million liters) of foam per minute. Thats some fantastic numbers but the result is even better, the whole video looks almost unreal.

I don't think this video is quite as good as the "Bouncing balls" or the "Paint" ad's but it's definitely better then the "Clay rabbits" and with the first two ad's Sony sure did set the standards high so all in all this is a great commercial in my opinion.

Sony have a microsite for the commercial.
