Well folks, this is something between animal cruelty, really cute and plain funny. To the owners defense: every kitten needs a shower now and then, and that's just what it is, a kitten taking a shower.

As a veterinary technician I deplore the use of this machines, cats are afraid of water and should be treated accordingly, if cats aspirate water they can develop Pneumonia by aspiration. As you can see in the video the machine protects the bather but not the pet.
