Great time-lapse video showing just how a wind turbine is assembled on the location where it will stand to generate electricity. You got to be impressed by the huge blades in these wind turbines, I myself once encountered a truck loaded with a single blade on it's way to a construction site and the sheer length of the truck was stunning.
I'm rather stunned by the ease they are assembling these huge parts, looks like it only takes a couple of days.
To get some educational value in this post I have borrowed a part from Wikipedias page about wind turbines: A wind turbine is a machine for converting the kinetic energy in wind into mechanical energy. If the mechanical energy is used directly by machinery, such as a pump or grinding stones, the machine is usually called a windmill. If the mechanical energy is then converted to electricity, the machine is called a wind generator.
