It was James May that got the job to review the Jaguar XF in the name of Top Gear, and since it's not a performance car who could be better then captain slow.
The review starts out with pointing out why the typical Jaguar buyers will be turned down with the Jaguar XF that represents the future of Jaguar. I think that the sentence This is the first time that I have been in a Jaguar Saloon and felt that I was in the right decade pretty much sums the XF.
If there is one complaint with the car it's that the ride is harder then you expect from a Jaguar but it's still better then the Audi A6 and the car is better value then the BMW 5 series. The final conclusion is that the Jaguar XF is a very good car, but more importantly Jaguar finally have found the balls to develop a car that belongs in the presence.
