The Trunk Monkey was originally a concept created by Sean Sosik-Hamor for a Subaru Impreza Club. In this original concept the trunk monkey was a small stuffed animal placed in the trunk which came alive and jumped from side to side to help distribute weight during enthusiastic driving. Later the Suburban Auto Group picked up the concept and created their own version of the trunk monkey.
