This animated short movie was created to inform about the Trusted Computing Group(TCG) and what they are trying to do. Basically the TCG wants to implement a certain semiconductor into every chipset so that every computer, cellphone, tv etc have the TCG functionality in it. This will enable the TCG to control that unwanted hardware and software is not used which will make life very hard for those manufacturers which are not approved by the TCG. Ultimately the TCG will control what we used and how we use it and and it's us the consumers that will pay the price because of the more limited range of products and softwares to choose from.
